The District 22-C Honor Roll Awards were established to honor individual Lions and Lionesses who have rendered outstanding service to their clubs and their communities at the grass roots level over an extended period of time.

These Lions exemplify the spirit of Lionism through their unselfish dedication, and who are deserving of district-wide recognition for their efforts in support of Lionism.

A committee, chaired by the Vice District Governor and consisting of the all region chairmen shall select eligible recipients of the award from among the nominees.

To date four members of the Bowie Lions Club have had their names inscribed on the District 22-C Honor Roll Master Plaque. At the 89th Annual District convention in May of 2011 Lion Carl V. was awarded this honor and joined Lions Karl T., Jack C., and Buddy E. as members of the District 22-C Honor Roll.
