On May 28, 2011 the Bowie Lions had the honor of participating in the Bowie Memorial Day Parade. The Bowie Lions would like to thank the City of Bowie for letting the Lions participate and the Bowie Lions would like in turn to thank those who have served our country especially remembering those who as Abraham Lincoln so aptly stated "gave the last full measure of devotion".
