50th Charter Night Celebration
  The Bowie Lions will celebrate their 50th charter night on June 20, 2011.

Lions Clubs International Foundation Disaster Relief
  The beginning part of 2011 has seen a number a number of communities around the world devastated by disaster. The Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has been there to help these areas from the southeast United States, to Japan, to New Zealand rebuild and recover. Retiree and Wannabe Breakfast
  The Bowie Lions Retirees and Wannabe's will have their monthly meeting on June 27th at 8:03am at Rip's Restaurant.

Bowie Lions 50th Charter Night
  The Bowie Lions will celebrate their 50th charter night on June 20th. For more information contact the Bowie Lions.

Bowie Memorial Day Parade
  Join the Bowie Lions and the Bowie community in honoring those that have served our country as members of our armed forces at the Bowie Memorial Day parade. For more information about the parade please visit the City of Bowie web site.

SHARE Distribution Day
  The Bowie Lions will have their monthly SHARE distribution day on May 21th. For information about the SHARE program please visit the SHARE web site.

Bowie Farmers Market
  The Bowie Lions will again participate again this year at the Bowie Farmers Market. You can find the Bowie Lions every Sunday from 8am to 12noon from May 15th to October 30th, selling rain barrels to help make Bowie a greener community.

Lions Multiple District 22 Convention
  The Bowie Lions will participate in the 89th Annual District 22 convention May 12th through May 15th in Salisbury MD.

Blood Drive
  The Bowie Lions and the Disney-Bell post of the American Legion will sponsor a blood drive on May 7th from 8am to 1pm at the Disney-Bell American Legion post. For more information contact the Bowie Lions or the Disney-Bell post of the American Legion.

Community Shred Day
  The Bowie Lions and Melvin Motors will sponsor a community shred day on April 30th from 9am to 1pm at Melvin Motors. For more information contact the Bowie Lions or Melvin Motors.

Book Sale
  The Bowie Lions will host a book sale on April 16th from 8am to 12noon at the Bowie Lions Den. Paperback and hardcover books will be available for sale along with magazines, videos, and audio cassettes. Directions to the Bowie Lions Den can be found here.

  NBC4 will host their annual health fair on January 15th and 16th at the Washington Convention Center. The Lions mobile health unit will be available to provide eye screenings.
